Looking into the eyes of a lioness at Whipsnade zoo. Been trying to get more eye shots of animals, and big cats are hardest to get shots of their eyes as they tend to be in the wrong place, i.e too far away.

It is only "the natural order of things" that this lioness doesn't exactly spend her every waking moment doing the mundane things you see these creatures do in those severely edited-out animal documentaries they display on your average nature program. And in light of the true details and implications that are so verily blotted out yet undeniably relevant to the daily life patterns surrounding this feline...
She is deserving of this commentary, and she is it's definition...
