“We have to find her before the boss gets back. Split up and search the grounds!”
Hai! They cried out in unison as they futility hurried after her.
Lingering behind, still assessing the situation and trying to contain his concern, the guard captain watched as the rest of his men went off in search of the elusive lyolf. They were not even sure how she got on the premise in the first place as it was completely surrounded!
Yet here they were…now missing over 5406350 yen (about 50,000 US dollars), along with two of his finest men slayed in her wrath. Not that he was surprised. He KNEW what she was capable of as he had seen her slaughter others in the past when he first joined the organization. He was one of the fortune ones that had managed to escape and live- or perhaps she had let him live due to how naïve and inexperienced he was at the time. But now…
With a heavy sigh, he prepared to call his boss and tell him the news about the break-in. He knew no good would come of this call.
Dealing with his boss was…tiring to say the least. The pay was excellent, but at what cost? His sanity, well-being, and at the moment, possibly his life…
“Hello? Yes sir, this is Miles. I hate to disturb you, but I have some bad news to tell you. The-“
His sentence was abruptly cut off as he fell face first to the floor with a sharp thud. As he tried to fight off death just long enough to see his assailant, he turned to see a blurry, white ball running out of the room.
Of course. Softly chuckling at his own fallacy, he closed his eyes.
As she started to exit the room, she could hear a clearly irritated voice on the other end of the phone that kept ushering someone…anyone to “Speak up!” Rolling her eyes, she let her claws tap against the speaker of the phone, letting the tapping sound resonate in his ears before finally hanging up the phone.
Leaving a single cherry blossom petal on the guard’s corpse, she high-tailed it out of the building-
“There she is, after her!”
“Son of a…”
Tossing a smoke bomb in their direction, Whisper jumped out the nearest window and landed on a nearby roof.
“Good thing felines land on their feet,” she thought to herself as she brushed herself off and quickly began jumping and running across rooftops in the sleepy town. Thankfully, it was the weekend, and early in the day, so not many people were stirring about to hear the ruckus going on above their heads.
Whisper HATED daytime jobs! At least at night she had the shadows and darkness to cover her trail. Daytime missions required far more planning and strategy than a regular mission. Not to mention the risk of getting caught was MUCH higher! So why did she accept said mission? She eyed the bag of loot she had managed to ransack-
Money. Always the money. Well that and the reason behind the mission as well.
While Whisper was usually not one to steal from others, she made a special exception in this case. The money was extorted from her client by an infamous con artist in the area. The bounty on his head was huge, but no one had the balls to take him down- that and he used his influence to buy out the law and politicians: typical. The risks for the job was extremely high: there was a chance she would be arrested or killed on sight. The police chief was being bought out and everyone KNEW it. Meaning no matter what happened, they couldn’t be a part of the situation. Perfect.
She took enough money to not only repay her client, but enough payment for her services as well.
One of her coworkers was meeting her at a "safe spot" they had agreed upon prior to the mission, where they would rendezvous and she could hide out until the coast was clear. At nightfall, they would be able to finish the mission and return safely to headquarters without stirring up anymore trouble or risk being tracked.
A smirk crossed her muzzle as she realized that even though she was running for her life, she was having way too much fun~
Ah, there is no better way to start the day than going on a killing rampage and stealing money from the wicked and giving it to others that need it more...like herself!
I realized after getting this piece that I rarely get any daytime art of Whisper, at least as an assassin! There is a reason for that: most of her missions are done at night to allow for easier access, along with less chance of being seen or captured. She -can- work in the daytime, but she charges her clients more due to the heightened risks involved! I mean come on, running on rooftops is not exactly easy, even for a trained kunoichi! But she manages...and somehow has fun doing so because she enjoys torturing the idiots stupid enough to try and catch her.
I want to give a huge thanks to the talented artist behind this piece: Elvofirida. An absolute joy to work with; I highly recommend working with her and watching her if you are not already doing so. Thank you so much again! Expect to see Whisper in her style again soon~

This picture looks amazing
I think Whisper looks very nice in that outfit.
Sexy but yet very argile and dangerous. Especially with those knifes. O.o
But I really love the combination in between sexyness/cuteness and being kind of dangerous too.
I have not yet thought of any potential fight pictures I could have for my character as I normally am more on the sexy/posing side but maybe I could get a picture that would be inspired by thisone. I really love how it loks.
And the story you have written alongside it is very nice as well. I allways love reading a good story for a picture so you can dive right into the scene and have it playing in front of your eyes like a little movie ehehe. :3

I always try to post a short story, or at least a description to go with all my pieces. I do so because as you said, it gives the viewer an idea of what's going on in the piece, and why I got it in the first place! It's alot better than saying, "Okay, this art is good. Go watch this art here." Nah, I feel like that is an injustice to the art and the artist that commissioned it for me!
Anyway, I am so glad you liked it and it could inspire you to get something of your girl! If you do manage to commission a piece of your girl in a pose like this one, let me know! I'd love to see it~

Oh nonsense- anyone can write a short story. Heck, look at me! I wrote that one up in about a day or so in between work! Haha. I just use the image the artist draws and base a story around it; just use that awesome imagination of yours :)

Oh... So your character is changing her furcolor with the seasons? Wooow that is very immersive and cool.
I do not change my fur during seasons I only wear other clothing ehehee. when in Sumer I love to wear miniskirts and cute outfits that show a lot of eeh fur and compliment my kind of large oppais… O.O In fall or winter I love to wear cute but a bit more seasonal clothing. Off shoulder sweaters or sweater minnidresses or even thigh high boots ehehe. I am a huge fan of heel shoes. :3 Even in winter where i would be wearing cute coats then. :3 I even do have schoolgirl outfits according to every season ehehee. :3
I really hope that we can cet art together one day. I will be thinking about something that we could have together.

You can't tell from the picture, but she likes to dip hers in poison on the tips so they die a slow, painful death, not just from being stabbed, but from toxins going through their blood as well.
...yeah, don't get on her badside
