nice linking pattern--alot of work to put all those little links together. I haven't done chain mail for awhile. I agree the padlock is very nice.

The majority of the European family is easy to work with, and the higher you go, the tighter the weave becomes. This took me about 5 days of on-and-off work.

The green is absolutely gorgeous. And the padlock really looks good on a piece such as this. I dabbled in chainmaille once in a blue moon... this might just give me the motivation to start it up again. :3

Its actually silver, just the lighting combined with a crappy camera made it look green x.x
I toyed around with the idea to make it a back closure with a simple hook and eye, but I decided to deviate from tradition with this one. :3
