The Tao of Forest #5 - Recipe
So apparently yesterday was Pi Day, and now I know why I had baking on the mind when starting this. XD But here we have some thoughts that run through my head lately, whenever I make something. And something I always try to remind myself of.
Just keep trying! Even if it's been done before, put your own spin on it! Nothing is a waste of time if you enjoy and learn from it.
I should really go over mantras sometime later in one of these, they're another part of my general mindset, and there's several I have that I repeat to myself all the time. For another day though! It's good to be back into these.
Apologies on taking so long between these! I'll keep trying to get into a flow and release these more regularly. <3 I've got a lot more planned, and hey, having to stay home all the time now is actually helping with my productivity I think. XD

This is absolutely cute and true, though I am so much of an perfectionist that I need to follow recipes. The trying always again aspect is true with many things in life and I think what is most important to remember is that you don't need to try again immediately and rather have a rest and try again when you feel like it.
I was just thinking... "You used Affect wrong, should be Effect." Then I stopped, looked at the sentence... no... you didn't use it wrong, you used it correctly... I'm just so used to seeing Effect used incorrectly in that manner that my brain skipped over to the wrong conclusion.
English is annoying, it has so many grammer rules that very few native english speakers follow.
