I'd like to mention that this is OLD art, circa 2010 to be exact. I wanted to do more with it, but never was happy with anything I did to it and I feel bad for never letting this masterpiece see the light of day. So here we are almost 10 years later. Better late then never I guess.
This species (Snaârgs and Horned Snaârgs) are a creation of my own. They're both hexapods, Horned Snaârgs being the more aggressive species. They have a barb on their tail that if you get stabbed with will paralyze you, blocking all your neurons and causing them to seize. The powerful neurotoxin their tail barb produces is so potent it would kill a human in less than 20 minutes causing seizures, violent muscle spasms, and foaming of the mouth. They can shake it like a rattlesnake rattle as a warning to back off. While they are aggressive, they will only attack if provoked. Horned Snaârgs use their horns for mating rituals similar to deer sparring. Females have horns too. They can very in shape and size depending on the region, just like their fur color and fur length. Both sexes have manes but the males will turn bright red during mating season indicating to the ladies that they are ready.
I plan on doing a species reference when I'm up to the Herculean task. Can't give a time frame on that.
