It had to be done. Teldrisa couldn't stand to let the fate of the city, or even the world be twisted this way. History would have told the story of the new lich king. They said that their king was a god; a blessing on this earth who merely took his greatness as an opportunity. He wished to use this newly discovered blessing for tyranny. The destruction of her home was a sacrifice worthy of the land, but a toll on the soul. This soul will rekindle from these dark hours, even if it means starting over.
