Oh boy. This sketch took... a while ><
After becoming more and more active over the past few months on here, I've been asked about my main and closest OC, Luna, alot.
Sssooo after lots and I mean LOTS of procrastinating I finally started to rework a proper reef sheet for her. This is just the first sketch with some short descriptions, that I hope to line and colour soon.
I also plan on working out a second page for her reef to show details a back view of her plates, the scales on her wings and such.
But since there's alot more to a character than just a design, please shoot some questions at her in the comments! 💙 Oh and let me know what you think of her design is far ;3;
Some further details that didn't find a space on the paper yet:
The inside of her maw, her tongue and gums, is black, her teeth white and sharp. She can spit black fire but uses it rarely due to her gentle and calm nature. If she's forced to engage in a fight, she'll most likely try to intimidate her enemy first with her horns, claws and teeth and only attack if it's her last option and even then won't actively try to hurt her opponent.
When a close friend/someone important to her is in danger she will protect them by wrapping her wings around herself and them to provide as much protection as she can with her plated and scaled top.
She can withstand cold temeperatures very well, her short and thick furr providing warmth for herself and others.
She's friendly and open, but in bigger groups prefers to be more reserved and quiet.

She's so much floofier than the previous version! I do think the art has improved a good deal from the last ref. I really like the pattern on the horns and plating that's visible on the wing limbs.
Also I see there are some plans already, but is the color scheme going to remain the same as before?
Hrmmhmhm, I'm not very with lore things but... Do you have a particular world or setting that she exists in? Where does she make her home? Looks like she'd do well in a more arctic environment.

Yass, I decided to make her floofier, so she can provide better hugs and cuddles >3</ and thank you so much! 💙
Her main colours will stay blue and black, yes, but there will be some slight changes to the gradients ^-^
Hrmh I have to admit I didn't quite think about that yet, I usually have a world or a setting for the OC's I create in mind but hers still is... unclear to me. But it would most certianly be a colder environment where she'd live!

When you're referring to normal sized marshmellows, she could probably stuff at least three packages inside of her mouth, considering her size! Open wide 030 However, she'd probably start to panic slightly when she... isn't able to get them out again... because she stuffed too many in...
