So this idea came to me from a seemingly throwaway line, from the episode Road Ravens, I believe. At the end, Charley slips in some oil and bowls into the bros. To which Throttle, in true Throttle fashion, delivers some grade A deadpan snark with the comment "Nice plie." Admittedly, a plie is not the most obscure of ballet moves, but I still don't think a Martian biker is randomly going to know it. Not even one as secretly cultured as Throttle. There's got to be a reason there. And, in my universe, that reason is as follows.
In her teachings, Carastella believed that the mind and the body were extensions of each other and control of only one was to not be in control at all. As such, she strongly encouraged her students to engage in physical activities that cultivated physical mastery of one's own body. Which activity was up to the students, with the exception of her son, Throttle, and her protege, Jetaria, who had to study dance. The good doctor believed that dance produced the best mindwalkers, as it not only taught them physical control, but also promoted teamwork and trust.
Throttle has never, and probably will never admit to his bros that he can do ballet.
