Magnificent, isn't he?

This truly wonderful depiction of him was done by  passerine_dragon , inspiring me to write The Guardian's Offerings, in which you could experience how he had managed to mess himself up so much by the alluring pleasure of being supplied with all those fine meals by the people of the village seeking for his protection. Embarrassing when you are meant to be the esteemed great and powerful guardian of everyone's admiration! No wonder he is so anxious about the looming prospect of getting caught in the act!

He is an Akri as shown on this reference sheet, the colour is absolutely spot-on, how they are meant to look and feel like, the majestic and terrific beasts of this world, which world, the environment is also wonderfully done by her, including those two little batbirds seeking out for an opportunity to swipe a few bites for themselves to give him some relief in a vain attempt of keeping that fat gut in check. No much success with that, apparently!
