Meet Durandal, another one of my sona's siblings! Randy's half-shark (a literal cat-fish, if you will), and as such, he's got gills, fins, and a big sharky tail. He likes to spend most of his time sitting at the bottom of a pond or river by his lonesome, but he spends a fair amount of time up on the surface as well. Usually, he wears a scarf to cover up that bare, gilled neck of his when he's out of the water, though (he knows it's not a pretty sight). He's a bit of a prickly fellow, if you couldn't already tell, and he does his best to maintain an air of apathy at all times, but he's a goodhearted guy deep down! Deep, deep down... Okay, maybe you'll just have to take Joy's word on that.

This time, I used normal, thinner brush strokes in place of the pen tool like I did for my previous digital pieces, and I also made the outline into an actual color rather than straight-up black. I think this little experiment turned out pretty well, all things considered.
