This was the "Verdun pack" back in 2000. From left to right they are Loon A. Tik, Snort, Silvermane (Ysengrin), DarkFang, and Kanis. The sixth werewolf that year, Bloodfang, didn't make the photo. Lance Pope (AKA Baron Michael Verdun, AKA YellowFang) didn't suit up that season. It should be noted that the werewolves were a subset of the 100+ actors that took part in Verdun Manor's sixteenth season.
All these werewolves performed as their own original characters, maintained their own suits, and generally had a ball running around terrorizing patrons. Sadly, we've lost touch with many of them. Both Ysengrin and DarkFang fondly remember the companionship of those years, and look forward to the continuing growth of the Blackpaw pack.
This is also the PotW for 08 March 2010.

I never stood still ong enough for them to dry. I just left puddles of sweat and sweaty pawprints on <strike>warm</strike> hot nights.
(For those who don't know, the temp inside the house would lag behind the outdoor temp by four or five hours because of the mass of the building. Add a crowd of patrons going through, and if it was 90 that afternoon it would be 100 inside at nine-o-clock. I made a point of mounting high speed fans up in the rafters, pointing them down into scenes where werewolves would be working -- myself included.)

Sorry I missed you - was in a move/unemployment then, so was nigh impossible. Y'all look marvelous, and I'd have opted to get a suit made had I kept earning that six figure salary!
I still believe werewolfism comes from a basic skritch deprivation... y'all just need lots of skritchies!

I remember that pic i saw it sometime ago. I was doing everything i could to try to move down there to join the pack. But i was snatched up by Jason's Woods and Bates Motel then things went weird and i got sucked into a local radio station for 10yrs being their mascot. And now ya'll know me as Bubba yet i still can't get Mitch Hyman to visit PA long enough to maul him......I did however pull his head off. Lol....Viva La Verdun Pack! You still look amazing Ysengrin I hope to hang out sometime.
It's great that you have this photo as a memory of the largest cast of performers at the Manor, even if the sixth one wasn't in it. Wrangling the schedules of lots of people gets to be impossible. For people like me that never got to visit Verdun Manor, it looks like you guys were part of something really special and unique; something to definitely be proud of.
wow in 2005? i remember seeing you next door and watching you wearing it. I was a Gopher for my 2nd year and i saw the suit. The first thing that popped in my head was that the Air Brushing and idea of putting it together was really good and thought of movie costumes. Never met you but if i did i wouldnt know what to say besides it looked kool.
This was at Furconfusion(FC) back in the day when i was young probably about 22 y/o. Reminded me of Werewolf in London back in the 80/90s hehe. If im wrong then woops.....you get the idea :3.

You guys all deserve a steak. :D (cooked by me. my bf and like, 5 other friends claims I make the best steaks because of the spices I use)
For the record, I'd love to see what it's like to sleep on a pile of werewolves. It's one of those "impossible things to do" on your bucket-list, ya know?

*wants to cuddle all of them* Heh, funny coincidence: my husband's name is KaniS (no, the capped 's' is not a typo), he just doesn't have any connection to your awesome pack (he's a dragon).
It was so cool to finally see one of your werewolves up close and in person two years ago at FC- up till then, I'd only seen them online, drooling over how gorgeous you guys all were.

Within the storyline of the haunt, our characters were all related, and the primary character at the haunt (Verdun himself) had similar markings back into the mid 1980's.
Grey was also the only readily available color that the haunt patrons would identify as "wolf" - brown-furred werewolves were "bears" to the crowds, and black werewolves were "cats." I was going to try a reddish-brown werewolf, with Lance Pope's approval, but he passed away before it could be used in the haunt. That reddish-brown werewolf is still the one I wear.
Kanis (who asked and got permission) copied DarkFang's markings in MM fur (DarkFang is NFT fur), otherwise everybody has their own markings.
