This one is pro quality, could be in an ad (well, back in the 1980's they had car ads with drawings of cars).

That's kinda what I was going for, a sort of 1980s coffee shop look, and something that matches the car a bit. These cars are always a bit rough if you look at them up close.

And as always--you are Ms. Perspective!

I still have a lot that I can learn from you about creating grand and wide-open scenes, in both visual art and in music.

Come out to Texas, I'll introduce you to the wide-open bit. Not sure about the grand, though, everything's made of plywood and 2X4's here....I giggle to myself

Yes, particularly in spring and fall. Summer has its moments but is mostly like a vacation on Mercury. Winter doesn't usually add up to much but drizzle, rain, and occasional startling beauty, but you can get that stuff anywhere.

Now Big Bend country--the whole Trans-Pecos--is pretty remarkable. But I haven't been there in forever, I hate being on the freeway for 12 hours straight. I wish somebody would hurry up and invent faster than light travel so I could go out there more. Or how about a bullet train? Oh wait, that'd be socialist.
