artistic20b encouraged me to upload some digital work!I did this a few months ago. It's for my design portfolio. Which I'm afraid I'm going to fail. >< I don't actually KNOW design...

File Size 178.1 kB
A couple of things, that biggest pink blob is overpowering.
Also, it could use more in the ways of balance, with more gold and white ones in the bottom right corner.
Pink further in the background in the upper left would help as well.
The rest of the stuff you have on your gallery is awesome anyway XD
What is the portfolio being used for?

Yeah, that pink blob... I think I'll cover it up more with some black circles?
Oh, you're right! I can't believe I didn't see that before. Definitely more gold.
I think the pink is starting to frighten me. ><
Thank you very much! :D
It's for AP 2D Design. Design scares me. >>

The pink is what makes it "pop" though, and is a contrast to the earthy gold.
You don't necessarily have to cover it up, by having more presence elsewhere, you create the illusion of lesser size.
Design is knowing what to put where, an eye for aesthetics and alot of layers.
Try some more traditional design as well. To round it all out
Design people just love collages. They you can work with multiple images, and have them work in harmony, thus showing your knowledge of the basics.

If anything, it should be less frightening, due to the mutability of the medium.
Alot of people upload non-animal work, just do it occasionally, and with tact and you should be fine.
I'm happy you do. It's basically a condensed lurk.
Try conceptart.org (which is fantastic for any artist wishing to work in any medium or art related job.)
