Bats are indeed wonderous.
One time I was on a family vacation, when I was younger, with my my father mother and one of my sisters. My mother and sister, being un-adventurous poo-turds they are, didn't want to go exploring. So, my dad and I went. We searched this non-commercial cave and found SO MANY BATS all over the cave walls. My father and I, using a stick and our backpack and being very gentle, caught two and brought them back to our motor home to show my sister and mom. They were so cute, omg. They were little brown bats (that's literally the name of them) and they were so small and soft. I got to pet them right behind the head because their necks were too small to turn around and bite me. We let them go after like two minutes. It was glorious.
