As the pair stood in the looming shadow of the giant's knight, he couldn't help but wonder if Markus was actively trying to taste his patience. He loathed finding himself in the presence of others. And thus, little by little, the urge to give in to his bloodlust and squash the pair on the ground into nice flat layers of gore under his boots became less of a mindless craving for violence and more of a genuine desire for some peace and quiet.
