Portrait of a Lady.
A slow/speed paint started last month that somehow transformed into this almost Gibson Girl sort of thingumy. The pattern on the lower part of pic was a happy accident. Couch and desk were originally intended as an optical illusion like the profiles of a face and a vase - but i decided it was too distracting. And, yes, her legs are long and her tail is huge ..... that's a good thing. ^_^

i think i learned something about changing and thinking outside the box wit this pic -literally - pic was originally just down to hips and looked good (will post in a couple days) and then a "what if..." floated by ......Every pic needs a little re-thinking/re-seeing to bring it some breath of life, some fresh air. Not saying that's a truism, just finding that that is working for me at this time. Rethinking lighting and mood, etc vs original direction. i'm learning to navigate conflicting views on how to proceed with a pic - some pics fragment into a dozen colour versions or more, the the orangish ones, the purplish ones, the dark, the pastel, line art, no line art....Been a bit of a learning curve, and a long way to go,.
Lady Willa could probably point out the traditional skunk laws vs the imposed cat laws, but probably not the dates; Lady Billishire could give you the dates, the signers, which senators opposed the new laws, etc for the last 500 years. If i say who marries who or breaks up with who why do the story? "If the skunk's tale isn't huge, what's the point?" to paraphrase colley !
