Ser had been spending most of his time up until now trying to figure out what potions to make the next day, constantly going out into the woods and varying other... less than reputable places to gather rare and odd herbs, his collection growing day to day. On this particular day he had found a small plant that had been quite close to a small clearing, directly next to an animal trail, one that was likely to die, not only because of the wilted plant stalk, but the fact that it would be either trampled or eaten soon... and being a huge soft hearted sap, ser had gathered up the little plant in a pot and had brought it home.

Three days he spent slowly tending to its every need, clipping exess leaves and stems, making sure that the roots were well preserved and kept in perfect watering conditions, carefully adjusting the soil, and now it was standing up on its own again. what had looked like a doomed and dried out plant was now gladly standing upright in its pot everytime he looked at it... though as he looked upon the top most leaf, it began to look a little odd, the shape of it turning into a sort of pod. SO as he took a closer look at it on his desk, he was unsure what was going on... but the pod itself was what would start up a very very odd trend in his life
