"More forehead and skull"
...I don't like it. I feel like it's lost some character. Sometimes I just don't want to draw realistic characters, I want to draw ... a character.
I know my human faces are proportionally unperfect. They are too long or the eyes are too big or they don't always have tall enough forheads or enough skull on the back of their heads.
Sometimes you exaggerate and approximate for the sake of creating a style.
This doesn't look like my style. I like it well enough, but... it doesn't look or feel consistent with the character I wanted to create.
Anyway.
So much for being able to take constructive criticsm. :/

Aye, compared to the facial sketches you developed, this actually looked Different. Like, you can see after a moment its Supposed to be him, but its lost the same feeling.
Anyhoo, reiterating - While this still is great in it's own right, I personally did enjoy the previous look and feel. And finally, being able to take constructive criticism - Acknowledging his statement was right in the sense of developing a more 'Realistic' style was simply enough. Like you said, for the sake of creating a style. Just gott'a do what feels right. :V
*Goes back to admiring the other sketches of him*
