This is not the first time that I have shown Melody from Move to the Music wearing this dress http://www.furaffinity.net/view/881959/ It is a dress that she wore during the band's latest tour "A little bit of Magic" and while she wore for only one song "Web of lies" during the performance it is the dress that she is most associated with during that tour/album.
Now Petina DeMouse and Jackie Lyon http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1123734/ are fans of Melody and the band, and when they found out that I was going to be doing some freelance illustration for the "Little bit of Magic" album http://www.furaffinity.net/full/731002/ and that I stayed on speaking terms with the girls after the my work was done; they started nagging me for an autographed piece of something from some or all of the band.
Needless to say the girls were very busy with getting the album out. The concert tour organized, and the music videos made so I decided not to bother them until after the tour was over. Well the tour ended in October last year and after enjoying both the Holidays and some time away from each other the girls are starting to plan their next move. So I was happy when in dream recently I got an e-mail from Melody saying hi and asking how was doing. At that time I asked her for a little memento for Petina and Jackie. This is what she sent them. A signed glossy 11"x 14" photo of this.
This was originally going to be a photo used as promotional material for the album. It was later decided not to use it and instead some still photos of girls in the costumes and props from "Put your dreams in a bottle" http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1240977/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1240998/ were used. Petina and Jackie are very pleased and they plan to have framed and hung in their bedroom!

*laughs* Little flirt! See now, that sort of reaction just makes me want to ask her out on a date regardless of size! And of course that right-away gets me thinking about that Square-Cube stuff again...how fragile is a six-inch mouse-gal? It becomes a true test of gentlemanliness when your escort for the evening can sit in the palm of your hand, and even the chastest of kisses on the cheek may involve her shoulder and the whole side of her head!
Well Melody is not a Macrophile but she is appreciative of her fans all sizes. Concerning the durability of mice they are much stronger and tougher than their size would lead you to believe. Even excluding Petina who blows the curve. Still she'd be willing to sit in the palm of a gentlemen and have wonderful evening out on the town.
Oooh, VERY nice! The spiderlike touches are eye-catching but subtle at the same time. This would look gorgeous colored... >.> <.< ^_^ I think you've shown the girls in formal wear before, but nothing quite so... well, slinky. =)
One question: I thought Petina didn't like spiders at *all*? which was why Vypera took such great glee in the Black Widow hourglass motif on... gnargh, can't find it right now... on one of her less "family-friendly" outfits?

Ah! You raise an excellent point! When I asked Melody for some memento I never said what I wanted from them. Melody asked some questions about Jackie and Petina but Petina's fears of spiders was never mentioned. So this what she sent.
For her part Petina has graciously accepted the gift and I said nothing about the dress at the time. This is one case where I think she is "much" more interested in what is under the dress than the dress itself!

Wow.. nice.. i am imagining the outfit in color, black, the red blackwidow hourglass on her throat.. wooo.. heh, and she's got that "Awww.. wont you say Yeeeesss?, just for meeeee?" look on those gorgeous, erm, eyes.. Seriously, she could twirl you around her little finger and set you down the stairs like a slinky!
