Basically, during one of our game streams, Tapewolf talked about how in certain games (liked Dark Mod) he liked leaving fish on people's beds as a practical joke. It made me imagine Tape's alter ego Jakob doing this in-universe to his Clan Leader Daryil!
Given how many times Daryil has done flippant things to annoy Jakob, I think turnabout is fair play! Daryil twisted aversion to fish is just icing on the cake.
