Do mind if I ask you a question? I was curious how often do transfers from ships of different types occur in the USCG, I am aware it varies dependent on person, rating, paygrade, and station, but is there a rule of thumb how often one would switch ships? Furthermore would notably different training be required?
Because I was talking with a classmate from MMA last year, and I had a similar question about the USN and she said it varied.
