Secondly, I got the idea for this from this delightful Hula Girl piece. Girl ain't taking guff from nobody, damn it!

That said, Demi was just minding her own business when "it" appeared...

THE COCONUT ISLE PLANT MONSTER!!!

How this hideous monstrosity got to where Demi was is unknown... or maybe she and her BFF best buddy Diane were vacationing at Coconut Isle. What we DO know is that if you don't run like hell, this dreaded plant-esque mutation might get you.

Who will stand up against this case of science (or natural selection) gone horribly wrong?! Who will save the busty Drow and her wannabe-Ganguro buddy? A girl of a certain... hula persuasion, perhaps?

DIANE: Ganguro?! Pul-leeze! For one thing, this is a NATURAL skin color! (in lower tone and quickly)...eventhoughI'mfromBrazilIdohaveJapanesebloodinme... ahem. I've been compared to Peach Girl, thank you very much. I mean, Ganguro chicks are so... EWWWWW!!! Their skin being the color of furniture and all...

Anyway, this was something goofy I sketched up, and the kinda-goofy comments here tried to connect the otherwise-unrelated sketches of Demi looking shocked and the dreaded Coconut Isle Plant Monster.

This sounds like an idea for a comic OMG IT'S MINE DON'T STEAL!!!

Ahem.

Anyway, sounds like a good idea, comic or not. I could do perspective stuff of Di and Demi running from the monster, various angles and whatnot. It'll be a good exercise in not only comic making, but also all the other skill stuff that needs boning up! (heh heh heh... boning...)

And hey, judging by what I want to do, here, The One And ONLY! Hula Girl might figure into this somehow. Besides, someone's gonna have to kill this evil plant monster sometime, and it ain't gonna be Busty McDrow (Demi) or Ganguro-Wannabe McGee (Diane)...

And for those that got a bit turned off by what I wrote here, I'm truly sorry. I was just trying to have some damn fun with my drawings... like what I used to do on DA before all the... other stuff happened. Nothing wrong with that, but now I'm adding Possible Drawing Improvement Possibilities into the mix!
