I got another commission from Irete on DA. This is the first part of a picture series featuring my Cubs.
As you can see, my Cubs Bahati, Jabari, Adair, Otavio and Rhaena are all dressed in school uniforms and they are not happy about it. Here's why!
So I was relaxing on an ordinary Thursday, when I got a call from my Cubs elementary school. The desk clerk asked me to come in, but didn't say why. After I arrived at the school, I went to the principals office, where I saw Jabari in a chair. I asked the principal what the problem was as I sat down. I looked at Jabari, and what did I see? Jabari was wearing a t-shirt with the saying 'FORGET HOMEWORK, FORGET SCHOOLWORK'.
The principal explained that all the students went on a riot all because Jabari wore the shirt. I assured him that he was dressed in a sweater when he left for school, but I had to assume he had the shirt on underneath and took off the sweater the moment he got to school. I assured the principal that the incident would never happen again and he agreed with with me.
I was rather angry at Jabari and took him and the others home. Not only did Jabari get detention for wearing the t-shirt, I grounded him for two weeks. The next day, while the Cubs were at school, I saw a notice on the schools website that there was going to be an assembly. At the same time, I got an email from the school. It stated that starting on Monday, all the students will be required to wear uniforms. I then later got an email with the measurements and clothing sizes for my Cubs, then I heard the Cubs arguing with Jabari because of what he did.
I then got a delivery for the uniforms. Jabari complained that he didn't want to wear the uniform and I told him he should've thought about it before he decided to wear the t-shirt. I saw that the uniforms consisted of a dress jacket, white dress shirt, striped tie and dress pants for the boys and skirts for the girls.
So when Monday came around, I had to get the Cubs up earlier than usual because I had to dress them in their new unifomrs. All my Cubs hated wearing them, they complained that the collars and ties were too tight and Rhanea kept making looks at Jabari. I figured she was more mad at him than the others.
I then got the Cubs out the door and onto the bus. I told them to have a great day and after I closed the front door, I said to myself, "They are so going to have it rough."
