The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. More specifically in the Shadow Temple, guarding the hover boots, and I think it is also located at the bottom of the well in Kakariko Village (believe it's guarding the Lense of Truth).

And yes, I am a Zelda nut. :D I have, and played, almost every Zelda game out there.

He is creepy, and part of the reason I hated the shadow-temple.

Christ this thing creeped me out. Almost as terrifying as the rape-face moon from Majora's Mask.

though i just always called him bugly, since he was butt ugly.

you captured his good side, which for him is his bad side. looks less ugly, but still i feel as though i should pick up a sword and slash away at him for a dungeon key or a lens of truth

Majora's Mask was arguably darker.

Among the things is one little girl who trapped her half-zombied father in a closet in the basement and is surrounded by marching Gibdos (mummy redeads.)

It's weird how Twilight Princess doesn't have as many scary things.

Between that thing, and redeads, that well scared the living crap outta me when I was little. Oh dear GOD those redeads: B-button MASH MASH MASH MASH MASH until it STAYS dead!! That well was eeeeeeeeevil o_o
