One of my dreams is to have my own apartment.
Heck I don't even want a condo or a penthouse or a 100 rooom one.
Just a place where I can sleep, watch TV, work, check my email..someplace that I can truly call my own.
Be independent..heck I bet is hard but is something I would love to.

Save up for it. Wishing for it won't make it magically happen. You could probably move out tomorrow, since you seem to have a stable job. But are you willing to sacrifice the commodity you have now? Have you asked yourself if you can afford rent, utilities, groceries, transportation, and still have money left over at the end of the month for some fun? You could probably do it but it would require some sacrifice on your part. Don't just think that because you become independent your life would magically become better. You would have to contend with different types of challenges. You can move out, but you better be in a position to be able to tackle those challenges.
So my point is, you can do it just prepare. Save up. Learn what it takes from others to learn how to be independent.

May I ask you where you live now? Is it with your parents, or are you sharing a place? I lived three years, and three months in my brother's house (I'll be out by April) just waiting and working at finally receiving disability. But you will have a place. You have to make sure you can afford what you choose.

You are my hero. ^_^ You have paper towels, which means you know what's needed to clean. I usually use glass cleaner/windex and bleach cleaner for most other stuff. I need to invest in a degreaser though, then I'll be all set for all my kitchen cleaning needs.

well... i can tell you that living on your own, if you wanna have a clean place to live do takes you some time from the games... there are those tinny little things called domestic chores... lol... but yeah... i do like my rented 2 bedroom apartment so far... and it's different

Independence is a kind of freedom most mammals develop a genetic predisposition toward in maturity. After that comes interdependence, the desire to make the independence synergistic with another person to bond with and through the bonding become greater than the sum of the parts.
Iksars have the lizard brain. We stop at the independence. Struggle to get out of the shell, never have parents raise us, never depend on others, never raise children, never care for others, never seek companionship... sex is just a physical rutting thing based on season and hormones, pheromones, that sort of thing... chemicals, being right place, right time, much like human casual sex.
