No it isn’t a helicopter. This is a black 1964 Studebaker Gran Turismo Hawk. The GT Hawk was the last of the Studebaker Hawk series and 1964 was the final production year. Studebaker closed its South Bend, Indiana plant in December of 1963.

My middle brother (the one I live with) was a mechanic at an AMC dealership for a few years in the 1970s. He liked AMC and even owned three of their cars, but the guy who owned the dealership was a putz.
Since you might ask anyway, he had a 1966 Rambler Classic, a '67 Rebel Coupe and a new 1973 Hornet Hatchback.
