I FINALLY got a stand for my punching bag!
I've owned this bag for several years now, and it has just been collecting dust. When I first got it, I was in the mountains, so I was able to just throw a rope over a tree branch and hoist this puppy up, but at my new house, I don't exactly have that luxury. (the biggest tree in my back yard is probably about five feet tall).

It's no secret that I've been really stressed out lately, and today, I was especially agitated while at work. So I decided to look up bag stand prices online, and saw that Big 5 was having a sale, so I decided "Fuck it!" and bought one during my lunch brake.

It felt sooo good to just wail on this thing, especially when I was imagining that I was beating the crap out of my dumb-ass coworker! (shame that actually beating the crap out of him would result in me going to prison...)

I think that this will be a HUGE help to relieve stress from work, and give me a good workout to boot!
And thhis stand even came with a pull-up bar on the back of it! Isn't that neato? Now I can look like a total looser, completely failing to perform even a single pull-up! XP (I really need to exercise more...)
Although, it seems I might have to invest in some disk weights to add a bit more stability to this thing, as when I beat on the bag, the whole stand slides across the floor... ^^;
A weight set would probably do me good anyway. I really should start getting back into shape.

Also, yes, I know my house is an absolute mess. Shut up! >.<
