Standing at the street corner, Tudor looked at the wristwatch Sergeant Wolf had given him. He'd never worn jewelry before, so having jewelry that could tell time was odd to him. "Three thirty is when we would meet, but it seems I am thirty minutes late." Tudor looked around himself, noticing people were staring at him.
Tudor reflected back on what Sergeant Wolf had said. "You're going to stand out, Tudor. You're a ten foot tall minotaur who's wearing a mask that looks like a luchador mask. If you want to avoid drawing attention to yourself, put one of your hands in your pocket, shift your weight to one hip, and look like you're waiting for something. You will get stares, but not as many as if you constantly had your fists clenched, ready to fight."
Tudor did as he was instructed, surprised to find pants that had actual storage inside of them. He had worn the silken trousers for over a millenia, and never had he thought to put pockets in them.
Tudor huffed through his nostrils as he placed the weight on one of his hips. "Ease is not of Sergeant Wolf, not when we are doing business in public. I cannot be to blame if this shirt and trousers he ordered for me were difficult to put on..." Tudor looked at his watch again and sighed, "over the belly he gave me."
Tudor heard someone whistle at him, drawing his attention to them. Someone on the other side of the street was pointing at him with both his index fingers pointed out and thumbs pointed up. What did that mean?
Tudor felt himself staring at this person as they walked by. He was unsure of how to respond. Sergeant Wolf wasn't here, and this was not something he had understood fully.
"I shall wait." Tudor remarked, adjusting his weight to the other foot and looking back down at his watch. "He needs to teach me to use one of those... small, talking bricks. A phone, was it?"
Shaking his head Tudor felt the tightness of his shirt. It seemed to feel a bit tighter than before, but he was unsure as to why. He put his hand on his belly. Across the street, he heard another whistle from a new person. This time, they gave him a thumbs up.
Tudor huffed.
