seeing as how we got the go-ahead to post this, here's my submission for a warrior cats oc zine called Seasons of the Stars! I got the season Greenleaf, so ofc - I picked my oc, Oakstar. For those of you who Don't know, Oakstar is the leader of my fanclan, CliffClan, and they are super cool. I did this around March 2019??? apparently, and I've grown so much as an artist since then!! Perhaps when I have time, I might remake the piece! Oakstar uses THEY/THEM pronouns, just like me!! So dont' do that. You know exactly what I mean.

Oakstar has been known by many names. First, Acornpaw until a devastating dog attack ruined their face, and leaving them for dead and they were renamed Mangledface. Healed and then cast aside to wallow in the elder's den, they would sit and stew in rage at the leader, Cliffstar's ableist rules that would send any "imperfect" kit to waste away in the shadows to be forgotten, with horrible names as a brand of punishment. So began their plan that involved a cobweb of lies, murder and blackmail that would finish with a false StarClan prophecy that would name them the proper leader after the leader's and deputies mysterious disappearance and death. Renaming themself Oakstar with their nine lives under their paw, they began to change the ableist rules of their clan while trying to continue to manipulate the cowardly medicine cat in keeping their secret.
