It's mostly because I ran out of time and steam when building the model for this room, and I've yet to figure out a good method of rendering without things looking 3D, so usually I spend a bunch of time repainting the background renders. But I've been doing renders for my backgrounds since a very long time ago, so it's not a new thing :p Y'all just don't notice normally.
Impressive context, though I suppose a combination of Draako lifespan and access to the proper resources would lead to this eventually. I thought it was just flat-out "something they can do" as beings that were exposed to magic, finding a unique form of focus that's exclusive to them. Which I suppose is basically what this is, just with a bit more science to it.
Mis is quite the potent firehouse for sure with the ability to shapeshift and to use paint to mimic any focus. A jack of all trades and I can see how it make sense that no one else cause use the paint but her since one of the ingredients is her own blood. Still though it give a small peek on what may be coming. So do most Drakko don't have a focus?
