Kicking Foot: Right
Birthdate: 17/4/1999
Hometown: Orlando, Florida, USA
Junior Club: International Recruit (United States)
Playing Position: Wing
Player Background:
Jay was born into a large family, the smallest and youngest of seven kids growing up in the heart of Miami, Florida. While he was loved dearly by his mother, he was the runt of the litter and he'd often find himself on the receiving end of a lot of teasing from most of his siblings, save for maybe his two eldest siblings. Sometimes even his father would take in the teasing and mocking. These jabs caused Jay to sink into a bit of depression, often turning to sweets for comfort...which naturally caused him to gain a fair bit of weight throughout the years, not to mention he though if he got bigger, maybe the tag of runt would go away.
Eventually his Mother could see the damage Jay's father and siblings were doing. She filed for divorce when Jay was merely 12, splitting the family with his mother moving to Orlando with his eldest siblings and him. The change in environment did prove to help, getting him into a better school situation and getting him some needed counselling.
Jay's older brother began getting him into sports to try and help him lose weight. And boy did he try everything. Football, basketball, soccer, baseball...name it he's probably tried it. He seemed to enjoy competing not to mention some of the weight started coming off, but he proved to be merely average at all of the sports. Not a one stood out to him on the basis of skills. Throughout high school he did get steady spots playing basketball and running track. On the basketball team he was mostly a role player, highest point being the team's 6th man in his senior year.
From there, Jay ended attended a division 2 college to play basketball. From here Jay really felt his confidence skyrocket. He became more vocal and outward, having a big base of friends and being a member of several clubs. One of which was the international club, where he'd rub elbows with furs from all over the world and even make close friends with an aussie raccoon by the name of Ashlynn Adler. One particular event stuck out, when Ashlynn livestreamed a game of footy for the club. Jay thought it was crazy with how it combined aspects of basketball, soccer and football but he found himself enthralled. From there he asked her to show him the basics of the game, putting him through various drills and helping figure out what position he might play if he did. After a while they shared about their mutual interest in the game and how she was planning to declare for the FAFL draft in the next year or two. His near obsession of the game made him want to apply for the draft as well...
However, now came the issue...he needed to stand out now. Only option for that...win a tourney in basketball. That'd be a feather in his cap the FAFL teams would notice. So, he continued on the basketball team as well as practicing footy with Ashlynn every minute the two could spare where they found they had a nice synergy with one another. As a couple years passed, Jay found himself getting quicker and his stamina building up day by day. His love of cake kept him chubby however, though he found himself liking it; making him feel less runty and even a bit kingly. He'd even go so far as to give his belly a few prideful pats to celebrate a goal. Not to mention his softer frame made his looks deceiving, others dismissing him and thinking he couldn't keep up allowing him to make his opponents look silly for writing him off. Ashlynn would make jokes about it, often rubbing it for good luck before they'd practice and rewarding him with a rub when he made a goal and he'd gladly comply even lifting his shirt up for the act.
Two years later, Jay found himself graduating with a division title to his basketball career. Ashlynn had even agreed to stay with Jay to help him keep his skills sharp leading up to the FAFL combine. As time passed, they did nurture a strong friendship which at times even looked romantic. Some rumour that they might be an item but that's all conjecture at this point. They complemented one another for sure, they played in the same part of the field for footy, Ashlynn loves to bake and Jay loves to eat, he's quiet but a trickster on the field and she's a tough as nails firebrand on it. A perfect blend of compliments and contrasts.
Seems Jay finally has things working for him now, good friends, happy with who he is, and now he had a pro sports league to look forward to. Like the stars in the sky are lining up in his favour...Now comes his time to truly shine, to be a star!

Species: Raccoon
Height: 183cm
Weight: 81kg
Kicking Foot: Left
Birthdate: 21/5/1999
Hometown: Mount Isa, Queensland
Junior Club: Tennant Creek (NTFFL)
Playing Position: Centre
Player Background:
Ashlynn was born into the town of Mount Isa to a baker mother and a fisherman father. Life from an early age was learning the value of hard work. Home-schooled through most of her primary school days she was allotted more free time than the average kid often shadowing her mother at the bakery, learning to fish from her father and spending any extra time hiking in any nearby mountain ranges. Her early life activities shaped into a strong young woman with a love for hard work and the outdoors.
While Ashlynn was a healthy, strong young woman she was lacking a bit in the social department and had very few friends. By the time her secondary school years rolled around her parents elected to partially enrol her in private school where she'd take classes in the mornings and return home in the afternoons to tend to her normal duties and lessons from her younger days. She had developed a love for footy as her first secondary year rolled on, finding her love for runs and marks. Fair to say she was a bit of a firecracker, her signature being the springboard mark though she is predominantly a run player as she showed in her junior club.
Getting to her junior club proved a challenge...given her hometown of Mount Isa was so far from the closest club in Tennant Creek. It led to a continuation of her unusual life but with the added obstacle of spending part of each year hundreds of miles away from home with her older brother Tomas Adler. It took more of a hit on her social life but she did it all for the love of the game.
At the end of secondary school, Ashlynn found herself at loose ends, feeling maybe she wasn't to try going pro just yet...maybe she was missing something in her game? Or maybe she just wanted to learn something more? Either way, her adventurous nature she decided to go overseas for college, choosing to attend in the states and study baking and pastries, thinking that after a pro career she could have a solid fallback and carry on the family business.
She landed in a division 2 college, becoming the football team's starting running back as a walk-on which was a fairly big deal. While light for a football player Ashlynn made up for it in sheer muscle mass to the point of having a six pack, a fairly rare sight on a female but she certainly took pride in it. She'd basically live in the gym outside of classes and practice, making sure she didn't fall victim to the freshman fifteen and to keep herself able to execute explosive plays.
She'd eventually find a friend in a certain golden retriever by the name of Jay Samuelson. Since she didn't eat much of what she made in class, Jay seemed more than happy to let her know how good her work was. The two seemed to click nearly perfectly.
Soon enough the two found another kindred interest. When she livestreamed a game of FAFL football for the international club and she saw Jay just get hooked by it. He'd be asking questions about the game every day to her, be it rules, teams, positions, terminology...he couldn't get enough. Eventually Ashlynn surprised him by setting up an improvised footy goal and half field. Each day after their respective practices, even in the snow they'd run through play, practicing marks and manoeuvres, figuring out what position Jay would be good at...oddly enough, they played the same section of the field a wing to her centre.
After two years in college, Ashlynn was a football champion and had successfully taught her friend how to play footy. At graduation Ashlynn was surprised at Jay's plans to declare for the FAFL draft. From there she agreed to stay with him in America to help prepare for the draft.

Wesley was doing his academic studies for the majority of his life but he always wanted to play for the FAFL one day. He picked it up when he was playing it in middle school and intermediate school. Wesley proved to be athletic and perfect build for the half-forward flank position and was encouraged by his physical education instructor that he should pick up the sport and make use of his speed and strength.
The cougar was more than willing to cooperate with his physical ed teacher and do what was necessary for the class but he wasn't really sure he had what it took to play and pursue it as a career. He then talked it out with his family where the father said no that he should pursue just focusing on school and not play in Australian football, but his mother had a sense that her son should play.
Then, after some talk with his mom, Wesley approached his coach and told him that he was going to play for the school team. He was approached and taken into the team. He started playing to the best of his ability and since then, he liked playing the sport and pursued it all his heart.
Due to his amazing talent and skill, he was given a partial scholarship to one of the greatest schools and junior club in Australian football around. His mother put forth her money into her son's education, but the father was less satisfied. However, he offered to pay also for the other half of the remaining tuition.
Wesley was thankful and promised that he'll do his best and make them proud and owe them back the money given towards his education. Now, all that was left for him was to enter the draft and be one of the shining stars in the league (that's what he hoped).

Her mother grew nervous of her but she wouldn't want to hold her daughter back from achieving her dream. After consenting, Rachel smiled and thanked her mother, giving her lots of love. Dee Ashcroft (Born Desiree Gillis) was born into a rough neighbourhood in the heart of Queens, NY. Crime, gangs, you name it she was around it from a young age. Even her father was involved in gang life. However, a life of seeing the various people effected by the life her father led, including a handful of her friends made her sick to her stomach. However, she had one person in her life she could look up to...her uncle Joe. Her visits to see him over the summer were the best memories of her childhood, hearing all his stories of playing semi-pro football and whatnot. At the tender age of 13 she took what money she could find, got the first ticket she could find to Roanoke, VA and never looked back.
Desiree came to her uncle in tears speaking of her father's life and actions. Turns out he didn't have the least clue of the life he led. He wanted to protect her but...what could be done? Maybe he alone couldn't...maybe the police could however, if she spoke, she could enter witness protection and the two could start over? It took about a month of convincing, but she eventually agreed to it. The result getting her father arrested, putting her and her baby brother in her uncle Joe's custody and... all of them new identities and home...
When the plane touched down in Dallas...she was no longer Desiree Gillis...but Dee Ashcroft. She earned to reputation of being a tough yet smart girl with a cannon for an arm, one with a sharp set of eyes for making plays and was unafraid of calling her own number, even if to iffy results. She eventually got courted by local colleges for her eye for the game and prowess.
In her college playing days she was an utter phenom, known best for her fleet feet and long passes. After two years however she came out of college with two concussions to her name. She worried going pro would compromise her health even more so maybe the UFFL wasn't for her...but maybe there was something else in store for her...After some research, she looked into the FAFL. It seemed to speak to her. Sure, there was the threat of getting tackled, but it seemed more manageable in her eyes. Plus, she figured long as she was fast enough, she wouldn't have to worry about it too much. from there her sights were set...FAFL say hello to Dee Ashcroft!

Health issues cut short his career, and instead he decided to settle down and start his family.
Flash-forward to Ricky's intermediary school career, where ""The Flying Nimbus"" popularized the sport after decades of ludicrous results, and decided to take a chance with Bendigo. Initially his numbers were uninspiring, but over time the young male numbat exceeded expectations. Ricky's not the tallest player, nor is he a defensive beast, but his frame can endure mark jumping as well as prolonged periods of activity. His best quality is his kicking accuracy, which Ricky himself describes as his 'best asset' toward the game.
There are only about six other numbat in the junior clubs across Australia at the time of this application, and Ricky stands to be the top available player.

Puberty is a hard process for most people. Hormones in flux while going through changes, It’s not a great time. However, Not being comfortable in your own skin while also thinking that you were not the right gender makes puberty twice as hard. Growing up was a tough time for Zak due to the Gender dysphoria playing on his mind but thanks to football and support from his family, He got through it and is feeling more confident in his own skin.
Born Terri Ruggles as a biological female, Terri was a rambunctious young kid who was always full of energy. Making it hard for her parents to tire her out, Leading to many restless nights for the Ruggles family. While his parents would struggle for the first few years of his life, As soon as she was old enough, Terri would be enlisted into Footy Training. Partially because her father was a former player at VFFA level and partially so they could tire Terri out.
Throughout this training, Terri would grow attached to the game and start to follow the game more closely. After finding out that her father was a former player, Terri would vow that her dream in life was to play Aussie Rules Football at the highest level possible, The FAFL. Much would continue the same, Terri would continue to play Footy to the best of her ability, Attend school, Hang out with Friends and Family, All the normal things that a kid would do until one day in 7th grade… Things started to seem different.
7th grade was the first time that Terri would have to get changed for sport and change back into normal uniform at school and this would be one of the first times that Terri would feel off about being in her own skin. Growing up, Terri had been a bit of a tomboy in terms of her wardrobe but didn’t think much of it at the time but now, She was starting to feel like she didn’t fit in. After a bit of hard thinking and realization, Terri knew she was Transgender. She was actually a he.
While coming out would be hard, Terri’s parents would support her through her transition. Even if it would be difficult for them at first. Terri would first start to wear men’s clothes, Then she would start to wear a binder before finally officially changing her gender from Female to Male and his name to Zak Ruggles.
While Zak would finally feel comfortable in his own skin, Feeling comfortable on the football field was another story. Zak would face quite a bit of discrimination on the football field at the start of his transition from less open minded individuals. This would start to put a strain on Zak’s mental health and have him start to doubt his dream of playing in the FAFL. After seeing his son in tears, His father would make a stand and approach the league about the issue, Telling them “That’s my son out there and if he’s copping shit like that week in and week out, I expect this issue to be fixed. There’s no room for idiots to degrade my son out there after everything he’s gone through.”
The words would reverberate across the state and after an online campaign supporting Zak’s plight in football went viral, Zak would see that most people wanted him to carry on with his football dream. Zak would even be contacted by Gold Coast’s Matthew Blake who told Ruggles “Keep it up, You’re doing a fine job. Those dickheads treating you like crap are just that, Dickheads. You have the will to rise above them and I know you will.”
Zak would come back to the field and start to play the best football of his career with the fire lit under him, He was ready to prove that he was a talented player who deserved to play at the highest level. Throughout these final years in the Junior System, Zak would start to take testosterone therapy and slowly start to see his body change and his voice deepen. By the time Zak had become one of the top players in the VFFA thanks to his effective disposal skills and great kicking ability, He had almost made a full transition.
During the off-season, Zak has had his top surgery and is getting ready to finally join the ranks of the FAFL as the league’s first official Transgender Player. It’s been a long journey for Zak. But his dream of making it to the top level of Australian Football has come true. That dream now having a greater meaning. By achieving his dream, He will inspire many more who have felt what he has felt and inspire them to keep going on with their dreams.

Playing Position: Centre Half-Forward
Player Background:
From the streets of Brisbane, Mark Jacotine has had things a bit rough as a child. Losing his father to cancer at a young age and living close to the poverty line shaped Mark to be one of the toughest Centre Half Forwards out there but this lead to Mark also adopting a stance that life can change in a instant and to get the most out of life, You have go in hard and enjoy it for what it’s worth and that has lead to Mark playing a very hard style of play that can be considered somewhat as reckless abandonment for his and other players safety at times. What can’t be denied is that Mark is a great kick at goal and that he does provide a consistent effort that is likely to see him as an asset in the future as a major Centre Half Forward.
Losing his father was hard for Mark as it would for anybody but with the loss of his father came the loss of his family’s income as while his mother tried her best to keep the family afloat, They struggled along for most of his life. Things could be quite miserable for the Jacotine family but the one solace they had left was Saturday Afternoons at the Football Ground. The day Mark would put on his footy jumper and play the game that kept Mark in a good mental state, Australian Football. Mark was a naturalist at the game and picked things up very quickly. Thanks to this and his ability to lead in the Forward Line, He was made the team’s Centre Half Forward.
As Mark grew up through the system, He slowly became more aggressive with his play calling and the way he played the game. Mark would start to play very rough against his opponents and start to get suspended quite often for his play on the field. This would lead to Mark starting to question if he was starting to become too aggressive and after another suspension, He would slightly tone down his game.
2019 would be his swansong as he would end up being the leading Goalkicker in the QSFFL and show that his rough and tumble play would be of good use to some of the teams in the league struggling in the Centre Half Forward position. Weight: 80kg

Birthdate: 10/6/1998
Hometown: Fremantle, Western Australia
Junior Club: North Fremantle (WAFFA)
Playing Position: Half Forward Flank
Player Background:
From the seaside city of Fremantle, Rena Poindexter comes from a town where football is not only a sport but a religion. If the team is going well, Everyone is walking on sunshine. If the team is not, It’s a pretty gloomy place. Rena Poindexter would know this pretty well as she would ride the bumps with her team growing up. This passion would lead to Rena wanting to play Aussie Rules at a Professional Level.
The Canary would easily slot in as a Half Forward Flank thanks to her graceful marks, her abundance of speed and her ability to kick goals for quite far out. Throughout her junior career, She would be a consistent forward for North Fremantle and looked to be one of the top prospects in the 2016 FAFL Draft but then a debilitating ACL injury to her Left Knee saw her miss the second half of the 2016 season and the first half of the 2017 season. This would lead to Poindexter missing out on being selected by a team in 2016.
It would be much of the same when Rena would tear her ACL in her Right Knee a few games after returning from her first injury and would miss the rest of the 2017 season and the start of the 2018 season. The injuries were starting to frustrate Rena as they were keeping her away from playing the game she loved. Rena tried extra hard coming back in 2018 but would be set back with a torn Hamstring in her left leg and a shoulder injury that limited her time on the field.
The frustration of constantly being off the field with an injury while her teammates continued to play or even moved on to the FAFL was really starting to get to Rena as it seemed like fate struck her down as soon as she was about to take the next step. As soon as she started playing in 2019, Rena was ready to play like her career depended on it. Rena started 2019 with a bang with a 5 goal effort against Lathlain and followed it up with a 7 goal effort against Bassendean. Rena would continue to kick bags of goals match after match and see herself raise in the ranks of being drafted again.
Rena was proud of her effort but still wouldn't be satisfied until she finally made it to the FAFL. This is what everything was meant to lead to. She couldn’t stop, Not after putting this much into coming back for North Fremantle. Her form would keep up throughout the year and the injury that Rena feared would come never did and at the end of the WAFFA season, A lot of attention was placed on her by scouts and teams were interested in drafting her again. Rena is more than ready to prove herself in the FAFL but one big question remains, Was 2019 a sign of things to come or will the injury cloud continue to pester Rena in the FAFL?

Hometown: Perth, Western Australia
Junior Club: Joondalup (WAFFA)
Playing Position: Back Pocket
Player Background:
Growing up in the environment of a Casino and Gambling, Jared Tanner is the son of Casino Magnate Derren Tanner and his experience growing up in a casino behind the scenes has been able to give him an edge on the field which allows him to read faces and get a feeling for how to reverse a strategy in his favour. Growing up in a casino also started his love of Australian Football as while he’d be with his father and some of his better customers while they bet on the game, Jared was watching for the fun of it. Like any kid would.
This would lead to Tanner wanting to play the game locally as the love of the game had grown inside him for ages. His father was hesitant to begin with but after some convincing, He would allow him to play as long as they could get a team to take sponsorship from the casino. While the move would be detested by most in the league, Joondalup would agree, and not only would Jared Tanner get to play football but Derren Tanner would get his wish with his Casino sponsoring the team.
Starting as a Forward Pocket, Jared would struggle in the position as he would default to trying to play defensive football against his opponents which would be counterproductive for his position. After trying and failing to get Jared to drop these tendencies, His coach would swap him to Back Pocket and Jared would start to shine. Thanks to his skills with deciphering body language and knowing how to turn someone’s advantage into a disadvantage, Jared would shine in the WAFFA.
Throughout his Junior career, Jared would become one of the top recruits from Western Australia as his play would stop many top forwards in the game and claim many awards for his play including a Club Best and Fairest with Joondalup in 2019 after years going through their system as a kid. Jared has decided to put his name into the draft and ditch the family business of Gambling and become a player in the FAFL. Time will tell if he becomes a star but if he can employ his skills well, He should be a name that stays around for years to come.

Playing Position: Forward Pocket
Player Background:
It’s hard to live in the shadow of bigger brother, Especially if that bigger brother is 100’s of lbs bigger than you and plays in the biggest sports league in the world but Frazier Appleby has taken a different path to his brother and hopes to stand out in his own ways. While it is true that Tyron and Frazier are brothers, If it wasn’t for the southern accent and the fact he looks like a much skinnier version of his brother, You wouldn’t have noticed that they were related.
Growing up in Macon, Georgia with his family, The main sport of choice for the Family was American Football. High School Football on Friday Night, College on Saturday, Professional on Sunday. The family rallied around the local teams whenever they’d played. This would give both brothers a love for the game. While Tyron wanted to be a Quarterback, Frazier wanted to be a Wide Receiver. This would lead to Frazier to become a cardio machine and while his brother would continue to bulk up with pudge and be known as the “Hefty Lefty”, Frazier would end up long and lanky and earn the nickname of “Beanpole”.
Throughout middle school, Fraizer would continue to be a Wide Receiver Prospect but fate however would have a different idea. While Fraizer would get on the football team in High School, It would be in a less star studded role. As the team’s punter. How did this happen? At tryouts, Frazier was given a shot at Wide Receiver but while he was good at catching the ball and running, His size put him at a disadvantage and he was passed over for the role. However, Due to the lack of Punters, He would be asked to give it a crack as his size would make him a good size for one. While he didn’t expect to do well at it, He did learn how to kick a football well as he would try to kick the ball as far as he could sometimes for fun. So he gave it a shot. And he would get a spot as a punter. While he was on the football team, Frazier was not happy.
Frazier would continue to try and convince his coach that he was good enough to be a Wide Receiver but his coach would have none of it and unlike his brother, He’d be unsuccessful in convincing him. Frazier would be stuck as a punter. While his kicking would be good, Frazier would continue to get more and more disillusioned with American Football as a future. The last thing he wanted to do was to be stuck as a punter. While High School would progress with him as Punter, Frazier was ready to reject any college offers for punting. He wanted something more physical to play.
After a bit, Frazier would let his coaches know that he would not be continuing to be a punter due to his frustration at being unable to be more physical with his play. While most of his coaches would try to convince him to change his mind, They would fail to do so. That was until a coach who had immigrated from Australia told Frazier about the sport of Australian Rules Football. After watching a few videos on the sport, Frazier knew he had to move to the sport. The coach would tell him that it would be very hard for an American Player to make it in the FAFL but said to him that if he could continue his punting, He’d get an International Scout to watch his skills and see if he was good enough to go through to a combine. Frazier would accept the offer and would continue with his punting in the hope that he’d be noticed.
The coach would stay to his word and would invite the International Scout to one of Frazier’s games. While there, Frazier would show what he was made of in the Kicking department by showing that he could Drop Punt the ball down the other end of the field which would impress the scout. The Fake Punt Run play that the team pulled out in the 4th Quarter would also impress the scout by showing that Frazier could maneuver his way around defenders. This would be what put him over the top and got him an invite to the International Combine. Frazier was as happy as Larry after receiving the news.
Throughout the combine, Frazier would impress. His ability to take marks and to kick the ball were second to none and while his ball bouncing and tacking needed improving, Frazier would get the nod to go the FAFL Academy in Canberra and continue down the path of playing Australian Football. While it would be hard to move to a new country and follow a different career path. Frazier was ready to go where this new path would take him.
After 2 years under the Academy, Frazier has not only become one of the top recruits from the International Academy but one of the top prospects for the FAFL Draft. It’s been a long fight to get here but the Skinny Timberwolf from Macon is ready to make a huge impact in the FAFL and perhaps, Start to stand alongside his Brother as an equal.

It’s not easy being hard of sight. Jack Hill can tell you that. As a mole, His species is known to be hard of sight but Jack doesn’t let that get in his way. He might have to wear special goggles on the field to see but He certainly has a good enough kick to get him to the FAFL.
Growing up, Jack struggled in sports due to his sight problems making it hard to see where the ball was. Jack wore glasses but due to them always moving around, It just made the problems worse. He wanted to play badly but due to these problems, Always caused him to miss out on them. That was until his parents got him a prescription pair of Sports Goggles. Jack played a few sports to begin with but after a while, He found the sport he fell in love playing. Aussie Rules. After a while, Jack started to really develop a decent kick and was put in Forward Pocket due to his small size compared to other players. In that position, He started to develop his goal kicking craft and became a consistent goalkicker for the team, Even if he didn’t always have the best depth perception.
This would land him at the Thebarton Football Club where he would be one of the top stars in 2019 despite the team going quite rough on the field. Jack would end up becoming their leading goalkicker in a season where the team finished near the bottom of the SANFFL ladder. Jack is ready to make the next leap to the FAFL. Playing Position: Half Back Flank
Player Background:
It can be a hard life for people in the LGBTQ+ community with loads of bigoted comments coming from closed minded individuals. It can put a mental strain on you and leave you in a bad state. It hurts enough when it’s strangers shouting obscenities at you but when it’s your teammate saying that you need to repent your “Evil Ways” and that because your “Evil Ways”, The team is doing badly and you’re the sole cause of it. That pretty much leaves you in a very bad state. This is how Jeremy Chadwick felt when his teammate for Australia in Rugby Union said those exact things.
To try and fight his way to the top and to get there after having to see loads of homophobia throughout his entire career made Jeremy think that he would be able to change that as he would be one of the top players and could be an inspiration to change that behaviour at a grassroots and professional level but when his teammate who was the biggest star of the team said those things to him, Jeremy was left in a depressive state. It seemed like the sport around him didn’t want him to even be around. It took a toll on his performances and after a few games after the incident, He would leave Rugby Union. While Jeremy wanted to tell the administration about the incident, He felt afraid of the backlash and just kept it to himself. All while the star was still seen as the biggest player in Australian Rugby Union.
Jeremy would fall into a deep depression that saw him struggle to take on life. He had almost hit rock bottom and felt like he couldn’t go on but thanks to an old friend, He got himself back on track. That old friend was Former Gold Coast Player, Dwayne Payne. Him and the Rodent had met when Jeremy was coming through the ranks of Rugby Union while playing for the Queensland Cane Toads in Furry Rugby, The shared domestic competition between Australia, Argentina, Japan, New Zealand and South Africa. At that time, Dwayne was a grizzled veteran of the Gold Coast Dragons as was known as a hard partier. Both met at a party and kept in contact. After Dwayne retired from the FAFL and Jeremy moved up to the Wallabies, Both lost contact but after hearing about Jeremy being in a bad state, Dwayne tracked him down and offered to help him get his life back on track.
When Dwayne found him, Jeremy was struggling to come to terms with his identity due to his coming out with his teammates going badly. Dwayne decided that Jeremy needed to come to terms with who he is before he could pick himself back up. While it was hard for Jeremy, He came out to the world as Gay and was given positive feedback from his friends, family, former teammates and other sports people. Now due to the pressure being lifted from his back, He started to feel better. Dwayne suggested to Jeremy that he should return to Rugby Union but after telling Dwayne about what had happened, Dwayne would end up suggesting that he should play Rugby League or Aussie Rules instead. Jeremy would choose Aussie Rules as if that player was to swap codes, They would swap to Rugby League and in his assumption, If he did try to play Aussie Rules, He’d suck pretty badly and end up going back to Rugby after a year or two.
As Dwayne had now moved on to coaching in the Sydney FAFL competition, He would get Chadwick a place at Gosford where he now coached. While Jeremy Chadwick, The Rugby Player was over, Jeremy Chadwick, The Aussie Rules Player was just getting started. While Jeremy had to work on his cardio and stamina, His tackling work and his defensive skills were still in top order and were able to transition to Aussie Rules pretty easily. While his handballing needed work due to never passing that way in Rugby, His drop kicks were pretty spot on. While he was a rough work in progress, Dwayne would put him in the side and while the first few games were rough, He would start to get his footing and by the end of the season, He had gotten to grips with the game and his natural ability was starting to shine.
After his first season in 2018, Jeremy felt that he had the talent to make in the FAFL if he could get a good season together. He was ready to make the next step. However, One thing would happen during the off-season that not only bring things back for him but would also see a certain player from Jeremy’s past finally get his just deserts. Oli Outlaws, The player that gave homophobic attacks to Jeremy posted to Social Media a public attack on members of the LGBTQ+ community. This post would be condemned by most people including teammates of his and the Wallabies themselves. Outlaws would have his contract terminated and after a while, Outlaws would sign to play in France for the local league there. After the news broke, Jeremy would end up telling his story about Oli and while there were some sceptics, Most people believed him and Jeremy would feel a huge weight lifted from him.
This would end up helping Jeremy out in 2019 as it would be his breakout year in Aussie Rules. Everything had finally clicked. He had finally managed to blend the skills he had learned in his years of playing Rugby with the skills he had to learn to play well in Australian Rules. He would be almost unstoppable in his Half Back Flank position as he would end up stopping many potential scores via his ruthless tackling and his ability to weed his way through packs. His play would get him selected into the 2019 All-Sydney FAFL Team at Half Back Flank.
After talking to Dwayne about the prospect, Jeremy entered his name into the draft. His friend and mentor Dwayne Payne expects him to make a big impact in the FAFL but only time with tell if the Sun Bear from Townsville can make it at a FAFL Level but knowing Jeremy, He’ll be willing to give it his all.

The final of the 3 Hall Brothers, Nazzareno Hall is probably the flashiest of the three brothers in terms of his play and is the most likely out of the Hall Brothers to be a megastar in the FAFL though he is likely to be a bit part player like his brothers, Nowell and Natalius are to their teams.
Thanks to his father's encouragement and fair to say, pushing for his son to be a Football Player, Nazzareno has grown a bit of an ego for the way he plays the game and is one of the most confident rookies coming out of the state league system in 2020.
Whether this will convert Nazzareno into a superstar, Time will tell but coming into this draft with some decent kicking skills and a good eye for goals will certainly bring some interest from some teams looking for some replacements with the expansion draft that has passed.

Player Background:
From the rural town of Ballarat, Jason Wesley grew up with two passions. Aussie Rules and Fishing. One of the dreams that Jason has is to have his own Fishing TV Show but maybe the kid should restrain his dreaming. To get that far, He needs to make it in the FAFL first.
Going through the junior system, Jason was a pretty good kid. He knew how to defend well, Tackle the right way and handle high pressure situations very well. However, One thing that permeated his play was that once things were either going so well that they were in front by loads or they were going so bad that they were behind by loads, He would lose focus and start to think of other things and get distracted. This would not help his game as it would lead to moments where he would end up causing a play for his opponents through his own drifting off.
That has been Jason’s main weakness with playing and it does hurt his draft stock. However, When the match is on the line, Jason Wesley is one of the best. The skills he shows during those moments have been second to none. There have been multiple times where he has stopped a certain goal that would have put the other team in front with seconds to go. Thanks to this, He has been recognized as a big game player and for some, That’s what is going to be needed but for others, That might not be enough. Jason is a player that perhaps at times is more occupied with wanting to fish instead of defending the goal square but if you’re needing a big game player at Full Back, He is your guy. Just don’t try to tell him to stop dreaming about that Fishing Show, He’ll get mad at you.

Anabella Dorsey was certainly one of these people as she is certainly one to enjoy a good surf. However, While Surfing is a passion for her. There is another sport that she wants to do well at and that is Aussie Rules.
Growing up on the Surf Coast, There were two sports of choice. Surfing in the Summer, Aussie Rules in the winter. Anabella would of course dabble in both through her childhood with interest. However, After a few years. Anabella would start to focus on Aussie Rules while keeping Surfing as a hobby. While Anabella had been a decent player during the time she focused on both, The extra focus on Aussie Rules was what she needed to lift her game.
Throughout 2018 and 2019, Anabella would become one of the top players in Division 2 of the VFFA thanks to her crumbing ability and her consistently high disposal count in the midfield. She would be a game winner for Ocean Grove with her performances multiple times due to her effective handballing as well. This would see Dorsey rise up the Draft Ranks but the main question for her is both her passion for Surfing and whether that will end up taking over a potential footy career and if her brilliant play has been because of her skills or because she was in a competition with inferior opponents.
Annabella is certainly looking forward to the challenge in the FAFL but time will tell if that challenge will cause her to retreat to Surfing instead.

Growing up in Tasmania, Basil would do what most kids there would. Play some school yard footy. During this time, Basil would normally be picked last as he was picked on for having his name. Due to this, Basil would want to prove himself on the playground and would normally put in 110% with his effort. It wouldn’t change much as he’d still be picked last every time. Just more of a motivation to keep going and leave them in the dust.
Thanks to this hard style of play, He would be noticed by one of his teachers at the school. They would end up suggesting to Basil that he should join the local junior team in Launceston as they felt that his talent shouldn’t go to waste. Basil would think about it and after some time, would join the local junior team.
Basil would take to the team like a duck to water as he would play like a madman possessed, Picking up countless disposals and helping his team drub the rest of the competition on their way to a junior premiership. This would lead to Basil getting a call up to the East Launceston Football Club in the TSFFL. And while he would still be sledged for his silly name, Basil was still getting to prove himself out there.
East Launceston would be a turning point for Basil as he would finally get the recognition that he felt he deserved as he would be the winner of the TSFFL’s Best and Fairest Award for Best Player thanks to great play in the midfield and being a ball magnet that would get possession after possession. Finally, after years and years of his name being mocked. The name Basil Onions was feared throughout Tasmania. Birthdate: 23/5/1997

Junior Club: International Recruit (South Africa)
Playing Position: Half Forward Flank
Player Background:
From South Africa and being a former Rugby Player, Faf Perrot needed to learn a lot about Aussie Rules to make it but this Springbok was ready to learn to give himself another shot at sports glory.
Playing Rugby in South Africa is a part of childhood over there. It is their national game over there and Faf was no exception. He played in his childhood as a Winger and was pretty good at it up until he made it to Craven Week. When he got to the step that would have gotten him into the domestic competition, Faf stumbled. He would struggle to break away from his opponents when he had the ball and struggled to keep up with them when he didn’t. His performance would put a nail in his potential Rugby Union career.
While Faf was disappointed, He could very much see that he was going to struggle if he had made it through to the next level. Faf however had not given up on his dream and even if it meant switching codes to Rugby League, He was going to do it. Due to South Africa not having a major league in Rugby League, Faf decided to move to Australia to try his luck in the minor leagues for the FRL with the hope that he would be able to make it to the league. The same thing would happen to him in those leagues and after 2 years, Faf had pretty much realized that he was not good enough to be a winger and was not big enough to play any of the positions.
Faf was ready to head back to South Africa after his failure in Rugby League but before booking his tickets to head back, He noticed an ad sent to him from the FAFL Academy in Canberra for International Recruits to join them at the Academy. Seeing it as a last hope to become a sports star, Faf signed up for the Combine and hoped for the best. After some decent results with several of the events, Faf was signed up to the academy to be a potential player in the FAFL. While Faf had the athleticism to be an athlete, He would need to learn a lot about Aussie Rules before he even had a hope in hell of making it to the big league.
For most of his first year at the academy, Things were not clicking and things were not looking great for Faf. He was struggling to get a hang of the game and was failing to keep track of some of the rules. He was even close to getting cut by the program but thanks to an intervention from a coach, He was kept and he spent the off-season between his first and second season at the academy studying the game and working on his skills. The coach that had saved from being cut also noticed that he wasn’t a good fit for the Wing and suggested that he play Half Forward Flank as he would be faster than many backfurs and thanks to his Rugby Playing Background, Would know how to kick an oval shaped ball.
Thanks to learning during the off-season and the moving of him to the Forward Line, Things started to click and Faf started to get the hang of things. After the first few games of 2019, Faf had got the hang of things and was starting to be a vital piece for the Academy's team in the Sydney FAFL competition. By the end of the season, He had proven his worth in Aussie Rules and that he was ready to make the jump to the FAFL.
A few years ago, He’d never heard of the game but now, Faf Perrot is ready to make an impact in Aussie Rules that he had never made in Rugby Union or Rugby League, A chance to be a major player on one of the major teams in the sport. Faf is looking forward to the opportunity.

Birthdate: 21/5/1999

Mark himself has had to go through a lot in his short life but those disheartening times have molded Mark into the Kangaroo he is and he is ready to savour every moment he has out on the field.

Finally, Jack would be able to take part in the sports he wanted to without having trouble seeing.
When he started playing, He didn’t think he would make it to this level but now, Jack is ready to show the world that he can play this game very well.

Coming from the Island State comes a Red Fox with the unfortunate name of Basil Onions. The Fox himself is tired of people laughing at his name and hopes to prove himself in the FAFL as one of the top players so that his name will be known for more than just being a guy with a silly name.
However, That was a drop in the pond compared to the rest of Australia and if his name was mentioned to a nationwide crowd, They’d still laugh at it. This for Basil would not do.

Birthdate: 23/5/1997
Hometown: Pretoria, South Africa
