The pronouns don't really matter for them and originally I tried out different ones. Eventually I settle on it being the least confusing to just consistently use they, but I forgot to edit out some of the other ones in earlier text I had already written before uploading. There is a pronoun in my mother tongue that I think would be the most fitting, but there isn't really a good analogue for it in English.
