Lock begged Ursa to try and rid him of the Crysallis, knowing it may detach his soul from his body in the process, but to no avail. The powerful magic Ursa used caused her attempt to forever mark him with her handprint of Crysallis over his heart.
This image was to depict that scene of Ursa struggling, hating herself for not being able to help and even more so for making it worse.
Lock is suffering from lack of sleep due to the night terrors his extensive Crysallis gives him.
