Because why the hell not, went ahead and colored the pic while trying to keep the 80s "feel" to it~
Quickie pic of good ol' April O'Neil from the 80s TMNT cartoon, from that episode that birthed a whole generation of TF lovers: Donkeywoman from Channel 6! No I am not remembering that episode wrong! Shut up!

Oh neat, you went for the still sorta flesh tone muzzle on the coloration. Nice choice of color to be close to 'normal' but showing the sign that its starting to change as well.

Actually, fun lil fact is that I originally went for a grey-ish skin tone to make her look more "donkish" but after adding the filters and effects, the skin color made the pic look a bit too "bright" and dull, and made her hair stand out a bit too much so I decided to just leave it with her regular skin color.

Plus I dunno, I get the feel leaving her original skin color gives a better "oh hey, its April!" impression, which for me is very important when it comes to TF fanarts of media characters.

I can see that, definitely. And back in the cartoon it'd probably be a last second/last frame color change anyway, if they did change her coloration.

I saw that episode so many times as a kid. And the way they drew the face and muzzle at certain angles never stopped looking weird
