A dark figure ever lingering in the corners of my mind with branch-like thorny arms attempting to root its way into my already chaotic, unorganized mind. The bright spots are the light thoughts and happy memories keeping the darkness at bay...and my inner self...the orange flying towards the darkness...trying my best to battle it.

I used watercolors for this and it's not something I'm used to...but I enjoyed painting this. It helped me out a little with how down I've been feeling lately.
