Its not all that much expensive than bagged dog-food, and less processed and therefore more nutritious and better for your doggies.
The book "Give a Dog a Bone" and others would be a good read for findin out about the raw-food diet.
And don't listen to vets who say to use a certain brand of dog food, they're paid to do that.

I've been learning a lot of good brands of dog food lately, funnily enough - Wellness, Taste of the Wild, etc... But those are too expensive for me. We managed to find a corn free food within our budget, though, and it's done wonders. I'll definitely have a look at that book you mentioned though! Thanks :)
