"FM,IHASSIMD: Altered Beast" is in progress as we speak. be a while since I need to create a DA and FA version of each chapter. in the meantime, I'm showing you one of the planned logos for one of the chapters.
it's not too spoilery, but it does give you an idea of Rainseia Alter's relationship with hir world's Aria, Sebastian and Follow Me, I Have A Spare Space In My Den after they crossed through and integrated into the chimera's subconscious.

... How did you know this was from a scene where FM,IHASSIMD and Rainseia Alter were chatting? the first chapter isn't even out yet, get outta my head, dude...!
Also, to answer your question; Astonished. This is taking place moments after he learned that Jackass-2 is a version of himself who went through with the merge (to save a fellow headmate, no less!)
The nuzzle was a demonstration of something that Aria (the subconscious part of Rainseia Alter's mind that was her, anyway,) did to show the Chimera that they were still together. because after the merge, Rainseia was genuinely worried shi lost them.
And yes; it's just as genuine here as it was when it happened the first time. As mentioned in Rainseia Alter's bio, though shi's the one in total control, hir three components can still influence hir unconscious movements. Hir Aria can't take over hir left head and talk to hir directly anymore, but she and the other two can still influence hir to initiate a self-nuzzle.
Of course, ultimately, FM,IHASSIMD Prime doesn't care what his else-world selves do; if this version found himself a family, good for him...
