Kane stepped out of the darkness. his breath came out in quiet snorts as he stared at a portly werewolf in front of him. "Sergeant Wolf."

The werewolf tilted his head to the side. "Kane?" The werewolf looked down at Kane's midriff, then up at the boar. A whimsical smile crept onto the werewolf's face. "Your bear form was really great, but I didn't know you had a boar form! Color me intrigued!"

Kane stopped his approach, his eyes widening with bemusement and anger. "What?" Kane folded his arms and stamped a hoof on the ground. "I asked you to come visit me-"

"In a dark alley," Sergeant Wolf interjected.

"Yes.... I asked you to come visit me in a dark alley - "

"At night, alone." The werewolf snickered. He seemed to be making light of the situation, which frustrated Kane even more.

"Okay, FINE." The boar grunted. "The methodology of requesting to see you was a bit lacking, but can you blame me?" The boar gestured to himself. "I'm flustered because I'm now a fat boar! I get you found the belly of my bear form alluring-"

"And very soft." Sergeant Wolf's eyes lowered to the boar's belly again.

"HE'S THE CULPRIT!" Kane heard from the back of his mind. Fenrir was riling up, it seemed.

"And I've heard you have some sort of... camera that turns people into pigs." Kane folded his arms. "Fenrir is livid. He wanted that to be known."

The werewolf seemed to finally pick up on Kane's annoyance. His ears bent back and he folded his arms indignantly. "Oh, so you didn't bring me to talk to you in the dead of night when no one's around just to show off your boar form?" The werewolf puts a finger to his chin. Though his expression did not change, his voice became more thoughtful. "I suppose you wouldn't be doing that if you wanted people to see you. Huh."

Kane felt Fenrir's animosity toward Sergeant Wolf. "HE IS MAKING A FOOL OF US! YOU WILL BE DESTROYED FOR TURNING US INTO SOMETHING WORSE THAN A BEAR!"

His eyes stared up at the ceiling as if he, too, was deep in thought. "You... have made an enemy this day by managing to turn me into something that's even more humiliating than being a bear.... That is another remark Fenrir had, albeit in paraphrase." Kane lowered his head down to Sergeant Wolf, waiting for a reply.

"Enemy?" Sergeant Wolf snarled with agitation. "What, are you going to attack me or something? That what this whole night-time business is about?"

"I'm not going to do anything." Kane folded his arms. "I'm just... annoyed. Why did you turn me into a boar?"

"I didn't." the werewolf remarked bluntly.

"Then how do you explain this?" Kane gestured to himself again. "You think it just magically happened?" Kane held his mouth open for a moment as he processed the thought. "Er... metaphorically speaking, of course."

Sergeant Wolf shrugged. "Well, yeah. I know I didn't do it, and why would I lie about that? Heck, people keep mentioning that pigifying camera yet no one's seen me use it once? I guess my reputation precedes me. But, If it were me, you would know."

"HE LIES!"

Kane was silent for a moment. Breathing in deeply, Kane let out a sigh. "Fenrir doesn't trust you."

"That's his problem, then." The werewolf rolled his eyes. "Listen, I don't know why this happened to you. If you want, I can look into it, but your guess is as good, if not better, than my own. As for right now, don't listen to Fenrir." The werewolf walked over to Kane and patted Kane's belly. "I, personally, think you look great." His eyes narrowed as he smiled. Giving a yawn, the werewolf turned around and lifted a hand, waving goodbye. "I'll remember the accusation, though!"

Kane wanted to protest the remark, but he knew he wasn't going to get any information out of the werewolf. All the while, he had to gather cohesion of his own thoughts over the angered caterwauls of Fenrir inside his head. "MAKE HIM PAY!", "HE IS LYING! STOP HIM!", "YOU'RE FINE WITH BEING A WORTHLESS PIG OVER A MAJESTIC WEREWOLF?!"

Kane sighed, rubbing one of his temples. It was going to be a long night.
