It was then, when we came to the clearing that I realized he wasn't feeling like himself. There was a "creature" that resided within him that, for the most part, seemed to want what he wanted, yet it didn't feel like he was in there. He forgot periods of time when this "creature" was in control, he was stronger yet more careless. However, the thing that frightened me the most was this "creature" seemed to hate me. It followed me around, perhaps due to his sense of duty behind is inability to control the "creature", but I know it didn't like me. I know not if the "creature" knows I am aware of it, but I continue to refer to him as "Flickie" until it feels like introducing me to it's true identity. I'm afraid, but I know Flickie is inside. They switch control seamlessly, Flickie never recalling the "creature's" deeds. Yet the "creature" remembers Flickie's events quite well.
Flickie may be unaware of the "creature" and it's effects it's having on him. But if I tell him the "creature" is there or what it does, the "creature" may lash out on me later... There has to be a way inside...
The Summoner followed her Guardian deep in thought about this new complication that presented before them. Unable to ascertain when she was immediately aware of this "creature" within him, she was still quite sensitive to his personality. She planned on entering his soul when he slept to discover what entity lurked inside...
