Last night, I got stuck at work because my coworker was snowed in, so I had to work the graveyard shift.
Luckily I had my art supplies with me, so I decided to work on the Lovenanaki dragon (whom I decided to keep the name "Lovenanaki"). I decided to give him a full head of hair that remained thick to the base of hid neck like a wide mane. His mane then becomes thinner at the base of his wings and goes all the way down his back to the tip of his tail, where a large tuft of hair is, much like a lion's tail.
Notice at the base of his neck, there is a ponytail strung with beads. There is a similar ponytail on the other side of Lovenanaki's neck. This I got from the character I love so much, Nanaki from Final Fanyasy VII (better known as Red XIII) hence my name, "Lovenanaki"
I decided to make my wings huge, as to be more practical for flying
Notice that I did not put many spikes on Lovenanaki's body (only on the back of his hind feet). IThis is because I'm not a very agressive individual, therefor, neither is lovenanaki. However, Lovenanaki is able to act when it is called for.
Also notice on his forepaws, Lovenanaki has thumbs. This is because thumbs rule, and I'd like to be able to grab things
So now all I need to do is choose a color for him and some jewelery. I still have no idea what color I'm going to make him, and as for the jewelery, I was thinking of giving him bracers like Nanaki's, a nechlace of some sort and some rings. I may do more or less, I'm not sure yet.
