So, I finally have myself a decent ref.

Tried to pack as much information onto the picture if I have to show it to someone who doesn't use FA. o_o

Basically, Kutcha is a genetically modified subspecies of my alien race Ciedverions. They have the ability to use the DNA obtained from prey to change their own cells, acting like an active camouflage. They can live for a ridiculously long time, and hypothetically, forever, if nothing kills them beforehand. (which does happen, a common cause of death is starvation, due to their need for a ridiculously high energy diet. Eventually the entire species is wiped out and Kutcha becomes the last of her kind.)

She was the result of an experiment to bring sentience to this shape shifting species of fish, and it was slightly successful. Kutcha has the intelligence level of a 3 year old, and is very, very dangerous. In the story she ends up almost eating half a planet, turning into this horrifyingly giant beast.

But, this is basically how she looked before this happened, and this is the form I draw her most in.

She is not so much my fursona, but a character I often present myself as and relate to.

Her feathers are bright, bright blue, exactly how they are shown in the picture. This color has a significance in the story, but I won't babble about it here.
Her skin is naturally w/o pigment, but she secretes waste through her skin (which is usually carried away by water) and it stained it black. (she does not secrete it through her face, so it is not stained there.) No, it's not poop. They process all parts of their food, and secrete a chemical that is a by-product of their bodies' constant regeneration of cells. This also demands a higher energy diet, so she can starve to death very, very easily.

You are allowed to create your own Ciedverion character, I will eventually write something up about them for this purpose. Although, please keep in mind that Kutcha's form is a direct result of the experiments, so this is not what Ciedverions look like.
