Notice the bewildered gaze, The conspiracy board and the many energy drinks.
This poor b*sta... I mean "subject" has most likely not had any sleep in days trying to figure everything out, clinging to a false hope that he might be able to fully understand it.
Not realizing the only one that can understand Kojima's insane work is Kojima himself... at least this writer assumes he does. it is unclear at times.

It is rumored that to protect themselves from the Kojima effect those who work for him do not ask any questions.
