These remain fun to draw but it's getting harder to explain in so few words.

My dad works in it, but I've got some industry experience and I'm currently going to college for it. This was originally supposed to be a basics primer for friends and stuff. *shrug* I can only explain the basics so many times before my tolerance goes, so now this is my "go read this" redirect.
Ooh ok. Yeah I've met a lot of former navy nukes, teachers and stuff. My dad oddly enough isn't, he just went into it to become a reactor operator (he does regulatory stuff now). I'm hoping to do Radiation Protection, specifically fuel movement for new plants.
So yeah, you probably have better system detail knowledge than I do, I mostly have a really good handle on the basics and on various accidents, et cetera.

We could use some new plants, so that field would be a goldmine of opportunity. I know a bit, yeah, but it's been a bit since I've really done anything with it.
Accidents, casualties, now those are fun (not =p). Good to know at least one more person is trained in it. I wish you luck in this little primer you have going, and with your profession. I'm contemplating getting back into the field, civilian side, if I can. Nuclear power has always fascinated me.
