As I was leaving work I walked past my Director's desk and she had a vase with a dozen roses in it. I couldn't not take a macro shot :p Taken with my Tamron 70-300mm in macro mode. It's a little dark, I need to invest in a decent speedlight.

I wish I could bring my camera to work with me. So many neat shots in the research lab environment.
It is my humble opinion that the colors of this rose are perfect the way they are.
Of course, I say that because the color is very nearly my absolute favorite color.
Rose 2 is nice but I like this one better.
