On a rare occasion, I will encounter a Pokémon who will beg for me to alter their species. They are not happy as themselves, ever since the day of their birth, and my spirit aches for those souls. It has always brought me immeasurable joy to grant their wishes and change them into the form they've always wanted to be. The emotions are often hard to hold back for them. It was a peculiar request then for a Pokémon to ask me to perform the same feat for them, not because they were unhappy with who they were, but as part of an effort to bridge gaps and gain valuable insight into the lives of others.
...A strange wish indeed, but his heart is in the right place, and that is all that really matters in the end.
