I know American Greetings released several CD's with the recent 2000-era Strawberry Shortcake characters singing.
They never issued a "Get Along Gang" or "Care Bears" (I think) song album.
I do enjoy anime song cds when the voice actors perform the songs in character. "Urusei Yatsura", "Ranma 1/2", "Inu Yasha", and "Maison Ikkoku" had soundtracks released with the actors singing very well...in Japanese language, of course.

Ranma female (the red haired pig tailed gal) was voiced by Megumi Hayashibara who has performed voices in many anime series and sung the title and closing songs for most of those shows. ("Slayers", "Love Hina", "Abenobashi Magicial Shopping Arcade", "Lost Universe")
She also released several non-anime music albums in Japan as well.
