Meet the Sulige (SOOL-ig, plural suliggi). No one knows where these strange slimy creatures came from, but everyone understands - they sure do taste good! Suliggi come in all sizes and colors, however they tend towards colorful and bright, oftentimes mimicking the colors of foods such as fruits and cakes. It's even said that they taste like the foods they mimic!
Their biology isn't well understood, as while they've taken excellently to domestication it is unknown how they reproduce or what their life cycle is like. What is known is that they are affectionate creatures that crave and actively seek out attention. Owners of suliggi may initially buy one that is only the size of their palm, only for them to grow and keep growing - some specimens reaching record sizes of a large car. Their disposition never changes, however, and they are always kind creatures.
They also seek out the hungry, and willingly allow themselves to be eaten for sustenance.
It should be noted that eating a sulige does have side effects. Common side effects are drowsiness and euphoria. Continued consumption of multiple suliggi can cause lethargy, as well as attracting more suliggi to the individual. Some have reported finding owners of a large number of suliggi left immobile in their home, constantly eating all but the largest of them in a joyous daze while ignoring their growing weight. Truly massive suliggi seek out these incredibly fattened individuals and tend to both them and the smaller of their kind, seemingly encouraging their consumption and the growth of their new owner.
Because of the above risk, it's not advised to own more than three suliggi in one household.

Man look at these adorable little guys. Enough to make you feel bad about eating them, but as long as they insist on it huh?
I do like how it appears that they have small seeds, similar to certain berries but the red one on top looks more like a pastry with vent holes. These are an absurd little species, the gentle disposition and capacity for massive growth while never changing the fact that they seem perfectly OK with being treated as treats is just surreal, especially with the warning regarding having more than three... with three being on screen. Whoops.
I'd gladly rate them 10 out of 10, I'll buy out your whole stock if I could. Good job making the next big snack product so cuddly looking.

Aren't they positively absurd? No one quite understands them. Even their very status as living creatures is up for debate, as they're more like molded jello than flesh-and-blood animals. But they're so sweet, both literally and figuratively.
Buy the whole stock, huh? They're a pretty cheap pet with how easy to care for they are, you can buy an awful lot of 'em!
