Fake Crash: The Game - Boxes, switches and fruit
Here's a list of each box and switch.
BOXES:
- Small Box: These boxes work differently from the classic games, as they’re closer to the Coin Crates from Crash Tag Team Racing. Jumping on them will not destroy them, however, spin breakdancing and other attacks will mow them down. Breaking one open gives the player 1 to 3 fruit.
- Large Box: These wider boxes get in the way a bit more and take another hit to break, but make up for that with containing 2 to 6 fruit.
- Ordered Box: These come in a group, each box numbered 1 to 7. Breaking them in order from lowest number to highest number nabs you a very sweet prize, however, breaking at least one out of order will make every one of them give you diddly squat.
- Stone Block: There’s some tasty fruit inside, but how to smash into it? Spinning the block won’t do anything, so the only other two options are to pick it up and throw it, or break it with a belly flop.
- Lemurian Stone Block: Ararau needs to get out! Now! Smash it like any regular stone block to free him.
- Treasure Chest: This cool-looking chest holds more special items, like a skull or a flower.
- Steel Block: This box is invincible to all damage. However, its invulnerability leads it to be a great projectile for smashing boxes or enemies’ craniums.
- Lightning Block: When destroyed, this stone block creates a short thunderstorm and fries every enemy on screen with lightning strikes.
- Platform Block: A block that cannot be interacted with in any way, just like Iron Crates from the original games, although always floating no matter what.
- Outline Box: Invisible, transparent boxes that clearly need to make its appearance. Surely activating a switch will do the trick!
- Puff Pastry Box: This is for any box connected to an oven timer/smart timer. Once the timer starts, these guys puff up like balloons and slowly golden. When the timer runs out however, they turn black and disintegrate into ash. Dons a solid colour when connected to a smart timer.
- Albino Box: This is for any box connected to an inverted switch. Unlike regular dark-coloured boxes, these boxes have a white birch hue instead.
- Glowing Box: This includes any box connected to a detonator/smart detonator. The boxes’ glow crossfade through each colour of the rainbow, unless connected to a smart detonator, which makes them only glow one colour.
- Spike Box: A rugged-looking box that has spike protrude out of it after a few seconds, harming Fake Crash when touched. Wait for the spikes to crawl back in to break it as safely as possible.
- C4 Box: A highly dangerous, pink box labelled “C4” that detonates from even the slightest touch. After counting down from 2, it blows up and harms Fake Crash or an enemy if caught in the explosion.
- Broken TV: A very fragile television that has a clock shown on its screen. Smashing it freezes the clock by one second. Only appears in Time Trials.
SWITCHES:
- Rolling Boulder: An enormous ball of stone that is very adept for making bandicoot pancakes. It can be attacked to make it roll down its respective slope or jumped on, being used as a ride to a hidden area or even to Subterrania.
- Button: A button on a wall that needs to be attacked to activate.
- Pressure Plate: A tile on the ground that needs to be stepped on to activate.
- Tugrope: A rope you can grab onto and swing from, like a vine. Grabbing onto it activates it.
- Screwdriver: A switch on the ground that has to be activated by breakdancing onto it enough times.
