Neither seem to have any fetishes. Laura definitely didn't and Vanessa I'm not sure but she comes off as a sweet Spanish Mal but with a more fiery attitude sometimes. As you said Laura would be quiet and protective and Vanessa I see doing all the talking and protecting Laura verbally and Laura would come in with the muscle if needed to.
