ah this is a gift I drew for 
cloud_trail_9 who I've chatted quite abit with and drawn me some cool drawing too. So I offered him to draw one of his Callentine Infantry soldiers welding their intriguing MA-3(A2) assault rifle http://d.facdn.net/art/cloudtrail9/.....ma3bayonet.jpg wich was quite fun to draw^^ (allthought quite tiresome )

In many military traditions, the efficacy of "cold steel" is still a closely held belief. Out of tradition and perceived practicality, many modern weapons have the addition of a bayonet lug on the front of the weapon. In the case of Callentine, the military has such a belief, and so they make extensive use of bayonets on their weapons in infantry training and combat.

You know, it may be a small detail, but I haven't seen many anthros with face wear -- bandanas, balaclava, even a gas mask in there. I think you might have a near-monopoly on it, and it's consistently a convincing adaptation and look for longer snouts.
Not to belittle the quality of any other part or anything. I just sometimes focus on unusual things.
